HAVEN January Update

Hello team HAVEN, 

I hope everyone had happy holidays and a great start to the new year. We’re excited for this year and what’s to come for HAVEN as a company. We’re making progress daily with our engineering and have been amazed by the strides we have taken just in the last few weeks. Here are a few updates on what’s happening behind the scenes:

Strength Testing

We are now in the beginning stages of strength testing. These initial tests prove HAVEN works and is at least 4x stronger than your deadbolt. We will be updating you as this progresses with some hard data that shows just how strong your HAVEN lock is. Trust me when I say you should be excited about this. Also, keep an eye out on our social pages. We’ll have some fun photos and videos from these initial tests coming soon.

Product Update

We will begin a HAVEN beta program as soon as we finish engineering. We will send out a small batch of prototypes to get your direct feedback. If you are interested, please send us an email at support@havenlock.com 

Shipping Timeline

We are aiming for April-May to begin our beta program/prototype testing. We should be shipping final HAVEN locks as soon as we finish Beta testing. Keep in mind orders will be filled based on when they were placed starting with our first pre-order and shipping as they are manufactured. Again, we will be collecting payment for pre-orders about 90 days prior to shipping. Keep an eye out for the payment request email.

Integration Update

We are focusing on creating integrations for as many smart home platforms as possible. Right now, we are finalizing our integration with the very popular automation platform IFTTT. HAVEN Vision

We like to think of ourselves as big thinkers and we hope that you do, too. We’re excited for you to come on the company’s journey with us and here is where we envision HAVEN going. Imagine you arrive home from work and your door unlocks as you approach. At the same time, your lights come on and your security system disarms. When you head to bed, you tell your smart system goodnight. Your lights turn off, your door locks, your alarm system is activated and your thermostat begins to cool your home. This is the future of HAVEN.
